Updated Class Descriptions starting February 2019
Pilates [New Time] : Mondays @ 7pm- 8pm (1 hour). Pilates combines a sequence of movements that help develop the body’s mobility and stability. It improves the body’s core strength, balance and overall performance in many other sporting disciplines, as well as reducing the likelihood of injuries.
Free Weights for Under 17s: Wednesdays and Fridays @ 4-4:45pm A class which aims to prove a complete body strength and resistance workout with the intention of being informative and educational as much as getting a good sweat on, to prepare youths for when they are able to use the gym without limits.
Core Conditioning: Thursday@ 5:45pm- 6:15pm (30 minutes) This class targets a person’s core, strengthening the abdominal and back muscles. A mixture of fun and challenging exercises that will help improve posture. Training your core can lead to reduced lower back pain. The class is suitable for all abilities as there is always a alternate exercise.
Box Fit: Saturdays @ 10:30am-11:15am (45 minutes) Box Fit is a cardiovascular workout carried out with the objective of improving fitness and an overall body tone through boxing training based on skipping, boxing drills, footwork, abdominal workouts. This safe, fun and effective Box Fit class offers a great range of workouts in one class to suit any level of ability in the art of boxing.
