Classes:

Both gym members and non members are welcome to take part in our classes, monthly subscribed gym members receive a 50% discounted rate on HCLF classes and for non members most classes are charged at £4.50

Please book in advance to secure a space and to avoid disappointment.

HCLF Classes descriptions:

Beat 'em Boxing: A high intensity class which is suitable for all levels of ability, providing a full body workout for both the muscular and cardiovascular system through the art of boxing.  To ensure a variety of exercise, the boxing stations will be complimented with circuits as well as other skill-based stations making this 45 minute class an effective method of training for everyone.

Circuits: This class will incorporate individual stations as part of a whole body workout to guarantee hitting every muscle group.  It offers the best of both worlds by allowing you to combine intervals of high intensity cardio as well as resistant and body-weight training to work muscles simultaneously, developing strength and muscular endurance to an all-round workout.

Functional Hit n Fit: Functional Fitness simply means the ability to carry out everyday activities with ease and without injury, Maximal results in a small amount of time.  A whole body approach class targeting both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres,  All energy systems worked for cardiovascular fitness, fat burning, strength and agility.

Kettlebells: This class will incorporate individual stations as part of a whole body workout to guarantee hitting every muscle group.

It offers the best of both worlds by allowing you to combine intervals of high intensity cardio as well as Kettlebell training to work muscles simultaneously, developing strength and muscular endurance for an all-round workout!

Pump it up: This 45 minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using Barbells and Body weight exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. Sculpt your body, improve strength and power whilst fat burning at the same time. Get your Pump on and feel the burn!!

Step n Tone: A mixture of cardio & tone! Using a combination of aerobic moves and steps, this class is designed to get your heart pumping and burning plenty of calories in a fun but challenging way. Followed by toning using dumbbells, bars and bands, aimed at sculpting that body and giving you the results you want!

Studio Cycling: Cardiovascular workout on bikes, pedalling through hill climbs, sprints and many more challenging drills and exercises to burn fat, boost stamina and leg strength.

Supple Strength: The Supple Strength class blends Yoga, Pilates, strength and flexibility training into one challenging but relaxing class. It concentrates on training isotonic and static strength to help with posture and alignment as well as improving balance and co-ordination.

Top2Toe Tone: Resistance exercise class using barbells, stretch bands, body weight and steps to sculpt your body from head to toe. Suitable for both men and women this class will help to boost your metabolism to burn more calories at rest.

Triple Challenge15 minutes of cardio, 15 minutes of resistance and 15 minutes of abs.

Women & Weights: Ladies only toning class using weights, dumbbells and other equipment to improve muscle strength.
